Isolation of Mycoplasma spp. from Geese with Pneumonia and Identification of Microbial Isolates via Molecular Methods

This study aimed to investigate Mycoplasma species in the lungs of 500 geese with pneumonia from Kars region (Turkey) via cultural and molecular methods. The samples were cultured on Frey’s Broth Agar media. To identify a Growth Inhibition Test was used. identification continued species-specific PCR sequence analysis which provide amplification genes dnaX, pcrA, rpoB, 16S rRNA gene, respectively. In addition, gallisepticum synoviae pneumonic lung directly analyzed Multiplex Real-time PCR. As result, 51 strains isolated 32 identified as anatis, 9 anseris, 5 cloacale 3 anserisalpingitis. Two isolates that could not be grouped same branch result RNA sequencing their nearest neighbour found sp. 2045 (GenBankNo.MK615061.1). M. DNA detected gallisepticum/M. DNAs simultaneously 1 sample. While some this consolidated place agents, increased potential become agent when compared cases caused by well-recognized strains. -Mycoplasma spp. gene identity levels scored below threshold 98.7% for demarcation still need defined whether they are possible representatives novel species.
